This place is amazing! A huge playground for our son, beautiful grassy areas for a picnic, beautiful views from the hills, and the lake. I highly recommend for those families with kids. Read more. Marcus 77 contributions. Firstly, this park was nice and pleasant. I enjoyed the views and would have swam if the weather was warmer. However, not sure about the Joseph K Gavinski trail that goes through it.
I thought I would try it out: first direction took me to houses and then disappeared. The second direction took me on a main road for 15 minutes before I finally gave up. Wasn't that impressed with Moses Lake generally.
I was recommended it but it did little for me! Clean park with great play things. My sons enjoyed the dinosaur playground!
The kids had plenty of room to run between the big mature trees. Nicely kept grass is appreciated. The bathrooms were in good shape for a rest stop. We were grateful for the place to stretch out after a long drive over the weekend.
Eating or drinking are not allowed in the pool. Patrons with seizures, heart, or circulatory problems should always swim with a buddy. A phone is located at the front desk for emergencies and public use. All deck chairs and personal belongings must be kept fifteen 15 feet from the waters edge. Children using a life jacket must be accompanied by an adult when in the water. All flotation devices are subject to approval. Diving only allowed off diving boards. We reserve the right to inspect all ice chests and bags upon entry.
They're not uncommon in Washington lakes and bodies of standing water, but you don't want to contact them. They're blue-green algae blooms, or Cyranobacteria. Grant County Health District officials have posted new signs around Moses Lake, indicating their latest tests came back positive for the potentially deadly algae.
